We have lived in a kind of "democratic mirage" thinking that politics and politicians are the human instruments with which we organize life in society, with which we govern, and we have established that the most refined and civilized way of organizing that life in society and the public sphere is the "democratic state", a myth established from the political ideas of the enlightened, Hobbes, Voltaire, Montesquieu, Rousseau, among others. In addition, after the Second World War, capitalism with its private property, the free market, freedom of expression, etc., has been installed as the only economic form.

It was thought that the market and capital should operate independently of politics, eclipsed we have insisted that politics with its enlightened democratic state and capitalism can constitute a marriage for the positive evolution of man, although today, on the verge of extinguishing the lights of enlightenment, there are leaders such as the president of Argentina Milei, who, despite the failure of this economic and political system, continues to think that the economy itself must provide for the subsistence of all human beings, public spheres that today no one in their right mind believes are not touched and that there is no predominance of the economy over politics that makes a fair distribution of the wealth generated by this world impossible.

History has shown us that this enlightened narrative serves to maintain a status quo of the dominance of a single social class over the others, and that the democratic state is a utopia that is constantly trampled by the strictly economic interests of a social class, the tiny economic elite that governs the world. Only in this way can we understand that, in parallel with the praise of the enlightened democratic narrative, the “pure power” of a few is imposed at a global and local level, the same ones who insist on an enlightened political narrative when in reality they are only interested in controlling the economy, as until now has been the possession of the United States and its allies, mainly England, France and Israel.

The main strength of the Western empire led by the US has been the control of the market and the economy, and now this is at risk due to the confrontation with Russia and China. It is no coincidence that the “mother of all battles” is being fought in Ukraine, and not for the freedom of Ukraine, nor for the return of the territories occupied by the Russian Slavs, but for global economic dominance. Whoever wins this battle will be the new master of the world, so the romantic dreams of social justice, democracy and freedom will continue to be postponed and I believe that they will never be translated into de facto reality.

It is therefore no coincidence that the simple solution that would stop the Palestinian genocide perpetrated by the Jewish-Zionists, granting recognition to Palestine as an independent and sovereign state, is diluted by the unconditional support in arms and money to the Israeli state of the fugitive from international justice Netanyahu by the USA and the majority of European states, mainly England and France, because what is at stake once again in the eternal Palestinian/Israeli conflict is the global economic predominance of the North American Empire given the Russian influence in Iran, Syria, Yemen, and other countries in the Middle East and Africa.

The world is on the brink of World War III, politics as such does not exist or function, it is the force of arms that will determine the balance for one side or the other, crossing the red lines that mutually define both Russia and NATO, we are approaching a point of no return, lately, with the last throes of the Biden government, the United States authorized the comedian Zelensky to use long-range missiles, a character who delights in what he has been wanting, direct involvement in the West's war in Ukraine, under the pretext of sending North Korean soldiers to the Russian front in Kursk. Zelensky's government immediately used such Western weapons on Russian territory, although such a decision brings the world closer to a possible nuclear war, as the Russian response was not long in coming when it put into practice on Ukrainian soil its "Hazelnut" missile, which many exemplify as the divine rays of the God Putin. However, Zelensky, in his eagerness to involve NATO directly in his fascist war against the Slavs of eastern Ukraine, once again used Uncle Sam's missiles against Russia. The world awaits the Russian response, and the evident escalation of the war that, as I said, can lead us to a point of no return and the extinction of human civilization on this planet called Earth.

We all know that there will be no winner in the Third World War, so it is worth asking why the world has fallen into this extreme situation, where it is demonstrated that there is no international law, the ineffectiveness of international organizations, the failure of politics as the most civilized instrument to organize life in society, and the absence of reason, rationality that we have boasted is the main characteristic of homo sapiens; and the answer would be, because the political class has never governed this world, that it has been the human class that controls the economy that has governed the world, and that has used the political class and the enlightened narrative of reason and democracy as instruments to maintain itself in private and public power, and at the top of the evolutionary pyramid, even if it is this elitist class that prefers a private ethic over a public ethic, Antigone over Creon.

The evolution of the monarchy towards democracy was not a transition towards the government of the people, but a necessary step to contain the plebeians and pretend to provide humanity with communion and democracy. Politics became the domain of the political class, and the economy became the exclusive domain of a small elite of monarchists who came as republicans and democrats “on the outside.” At least in the 19th and 20th centuries, the collusion between the political class and the business or economic class worked well to keep the world's wealth in the exclusive hands of the economic class both globally and locally. However, the incompetence of that political class that was charged with setting the democratic theatrical stage to maintain the status quo and the virtual-economic exploitation system led by the United States, and which is currently disputed by the rivals of Euro-Asia, Russia and China, has made the tiny economic class try to take control of the political sphere, a situation that Angela Merkel magnificently realized, warning of “the risk that, From his point of view, he represents the role of the owner of X, Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, in the future government of Donald Trump as president of the United States. (If a person like him [Musk] owns 60% of all satellites orbiting in space, that should be of great concern to us, along with political issues.) (1)

Many expect that businessman Donald Trump, who leads this rebellion of the world economic elite, will resolve the war in Ukraine, stop the madness of the escalation against Russia that his countryman Biden increased, and even inaugurate a new, healthier world era, but that will not happen, because Trump is preparing the ground for the arrival of the world power of this economic class, maintaining the Western democratic enlightened narrative as its ideological content. That is why we see, as with the “sword unsheathed” Trump began to threaten the “rebellious and insurgent neighbors”, Mexico and Canada, whom he accuses of the internal social failure of the drug problem, mainly Fentanyl, and the uncontrolled migration of Central Americans and Mexicans in search of the extinct “American dream”, as well as the collapse of its internal market, really caused by its competition with China, which has diminished its commercial influence in the world, now he wants to start with Mexico and Canada, mainly, with Mexico, which for 6 years rebelled against him with the triumph of AMLO and the ratification of Obradorism with Claudia Sheinbaum, to the latter, he threatens to charge 25% on imports coming from Mexican lands. Fortunately, the response has been forceful on the part of President Sheinbaum to this threat, reminding her that Mexico is an independent country and that a good neighborliness is better than a tariff war (2).

Likewise, his lapidary silence in the face of the escalation caused by Biden, authorizing the use of medium and long-range missiles by the government of comedian Zelensky against Russia, shows that he will never go against American imperialism, nor against the global economic hegemony that the US has had for the last 100 years. So, “recovering the greatness of the US” implies submission and authoritarianism, classism, and the return of the “military boot” as the real resource to subdue those who think differently. The local henchmen of conservatism in Mexico and in most countries of the world see him as their libertarian, even if he is the executioner that he will continue to be for social justice and true democracy.

The only alternative that the progressive governments of the world have is to maintain a unity against “the new sphere of the public” that Trump inaugurates in his second term at the head of the USA, not for nothing, although they want to seem a fortuitous comment, in Mexico, the economic class is thinking about launching a businessman in 2030 to recover “the fucking power” lost to Obradorism (3), but without a project for the country and appealing to the puppet Trump to intervene in Mexico, surely in 2030 he will have another setback from the people of Mexico, and at a global level, many are realizing the hidden disastrous plans that the return of Trump to the presidency of the USA brings, in addition, it is expected that he will wake up from its lethargic democratic dream in which the old Europe finds itself, and get rid of the English traitors of the European Community who prefer the USA as their master than recovering the philosophical greatness of Europe.
