I am concerned that politics continue to be vulgarized, that it is a matter of memes, outdated television forums, caravans of cars without content, of silence, of majorities, of dogma, because I know that these hard, difficult and contradictory times need that politics, as the instrument to organize public life, power and the act of “good government”, it functions and is present, and that the main actors, the political class and citizens, the rulers and the ruled, are at the height of the Unprecedented circumstances that Mexico is experiencing, on the one hand, in its attempt to move towards real democracy, and on the other hand, responding to the new normal that the coronavirus health crisis has subjected the world.

There are sinister minds that are conceiving these times as the best terrain to exacerbate the struggle for public power, and it is not exclusive to Mexico, since we see how in almost the entire world, the struggle for power for power has no limits or morals , the more sick from the coronavirus and the more dead from the covid19 the better, and they do not hesitate to use all means to use death as a political weapon, that is why I have said that the coronavirus crisis has not made men better, more humble or reflective, it has brought out the true nature of the human being, violent, selfish and prone to psychosis, for lack and lack of kind feelings in the face of the pain of the other, of the brother, of the fellow man; it has shown that we are inveterate predators and raptors.

The world of ideas, the cities of ideas, have become caverns of prehistoric people whose use of force is their tool of conquest, worshipers of Pólemo [1], of the holy death, that is why I look with fear as China presents a missile capable of carrying 240 submunitions [2], and I say, preparing for war and geopolitical power, in times when the world is experiencing this terrible health crisis of the coronavirus, and with China being the place where it originated and the country least affected, they take advantage when the enemy is mortally wounded (USA)! I see with anger how the Mexican media continues to take part in this fratricidal struggle of political power, I see how the real debate is put aside, I see how we go from a silence to another strident silence that says nothing or proposes anything, and it is thought that politics is being done, I see how criticism is exercised from the outburst, flattery and rudeness, and that valuable time is wasted in doing these times from lib erty to criticize proactive, constructive and rational the model of the people and nation of the Mexicans, and turn politics into the debate of ideas, and stop thinking that this exercise is a myth or an unrealizable ideal, because if not, we will continue fucked up.

I have had endless debates with acquaintances and strangers because of my political position in favor of the democratic transition that AMLO represents, and that I am convinced that Mexico needs to consolidate if it wants to solve its serious problems of poverty, marginalization, violence and now public health; In short, or we exercise high politics, this implies plurality, democracy, rationality and civility; or we continue to ruminate the past perniciously understanding politics as a "job" and rhetoric, the costs of the latter, we are paying more than, with historical lags in almost all economic indicators, social welfare, education, security, health, certainty of future of our new generations, in short, that if we do not make politics work we will be condemned to further setbacks.

In those debates and some texts that I have published, I have denounced that reactionary forces seek to make the democratic transition fail, that they are determined to make use of whatever it takes to discredit the federal government, even though there are obvious things, such as the fact that corruption is and has been what has gangregated the institutional and public life of Mexico, and that was and is led by a decadent political class that refuses to renounce public power; But I have also pointed out that the democratic transition is burdened by a single man, that I believe that the vertigo of the changes has not allowed the generational change of that fundamental political class to give viability to that transition towards true democracy, that the setback and the loss of the functionality of the Mexican state and its institutions, needs to be seen as a problem of a national agenda of all Mexicans, and not from a factious view and much less, sick as the attitude that we are seeing from the disloyal opposition to Mexico.

If you allow me to use the following metaphor again to explain how to consolidate this transition towards true democracy, that is, towards public health in Mexico, it is conceiving that the Great Surgery that the body / spirit of a sick Mexico needs, needs a great surgeon and a precise diagnosis, we already have that, the diagnosis is made, sick of corruption and a political culture of simulation, the surgeon, AMLO, aside, the patient needs a top hospital, with the best instruments and medications, an intervention design to eradicate the virus that has been damaging it, and thus establish a culture of legality, true democracy, the real political party system, and a true division of powers, in addition we have to take into account that part of the main surgeon, we need assistants from all disciplines, anesthesiologists, specialist doctors from all medical branches, in short, a context of men and women, of ideas and wills for the best, and that everyone understands what is going to be done, in addition that in case of a contingency of the main doctor, there are substitute doctors with the same talent as the main doctor, who can carry out the Great Surgery that Mexico needs . That is why I believe that it is time for "the best of all colors and flavors", of course, with the only condition of wanting to move Mexico forward, in plurality, diversity, intelligence, and will.

The position that I have defended is not new, what it has had is an evolution, a clarification of concepts and times, and that many issues that are now debated, such as what I wrote, in 2013, in an article entitled, Regarding minorities, mistrust and the PRI [3].

Some threatening with social revolt and the others with applying the weight of the law, the two positions are reduced to force, or as Foucault would say, to power ”.

"Those of us from below perceive this struggle as demagogic and sterile, vulgar and prosaic, that the true interests of Mexicans do not matter, that they are used without rhyme or are false arguments, vile fallacies, grotesque generalizations, calls to the past, to authority, family law, messianic pronouncements, and untimely modernizations. The final redoubt is force, and the warning that “the interests of a minority cannot be imposed on the interests of the majority” [iii], when exactly those minorities are, and not those referred to by the Secretary of the Interior, but those that monopolize capital, and exercise irrational and personal political power, who have now made the minorities of which the current Government of the Republic speaks, respond with misgovernment, starring in a context of mistrust that is the background of our attitude before the political act. The poet Sicilia, then candidate Enrique Peña Nieto, recriminated in our memories in a meeting with the victims of violence: “I don't see your heart in what you say”, in the same way, currently citizens do not see at all These structural reforms are the interest of the majorities, the well-being of each of the Mexican men and women, the face of the poor, of those most in need, but rather the interests of the first minorities of capital, the traffic of influence in the allocation of the contracts and the respective tithes, in short, we see corruption and mistrust permeating all public action ”.

"Faced with this scenario of unacknowledged evidence, of lies as truths and truths as lies, I continue to bet first on a social clinic, psychological prophylaxis of the public, and then on structural reforms, reengineering, because the problem is not in the evidence of those needs of changes and modernizations, but in the distrust of everything that implies politics, and mainly, “political”, because this implies an institutionalized culture of corruption ”.

“Next year we will be able to see to what extent these actors respond intelligently to these evident deficits and take advantage of the cultural, psychological, economic, social and political strengths of post-modern Mexico, and put them before those internal and useless struggles of disqualification, and protagonism media to gain popularity and fulfilling the forecasts of political marketing, next year with the vote, and this will not happen if they do not achieve an authentic connection and identification with a society desperate and eager for faith in politics for the solution to serious problems you have; or, and we wish this never happened, to what extent its deficiency and perniciousness provoke the unison chant of the population, which will not wait, towards the decadent political class: To the gallows !, since there will be no option, since politics will not make possible the regeneration of public power or the rescue of the nation; Left and right will continue to be only ways of orienting ourselves to reach the same place and fatal destiny, and the omen will be fulfilled that the fall of ideologies only served to consolidate the insufficient single legitimizing thought of the West, we will live the ruins of the democratic mirage and the new lyrics will be in a time to come; Next year we will not see hope reborn but only witness the grave of the decadent Mexican Political System, and neither AMLO moreno, nor the PRIAM self-absorbed, nor ANYTHING will make us believe in a tomorrow, especially only when the impulse and strength of the people make us reborn. to our homeland from its ashes ”.

"Let's hope common sense and intelligence prevail, and the true" Political Agenda "is rescued, which is not who is less or more corrupt, who makes his person the main public issue, but rather the theoretical proposals of a new idea of world and society from where we respond with intelligent solutions to the serious problems of poverty and violence that Mexican society lives, in addition to others that are not less urgent, such as the issue of educational backwardness, the problem of gender violence, constant violation of human rights, social justice, etc. ”, and now the coronavirus health crisis.

“The mourning of thousands of disappeared, the rescue of the marginalization of thousands of poor people every day increasing, the recovery of the certainty of the lost future of our youth and children, the demand for punishment of those who have made the culture of the corruption that the little that has been had has ended up in the purses of a few, the sincere forgiveness, if it can occur, of the oligarchy that has taken advantage to continue protecting its little world of privileges at the expense of the pain and marginalization of millions of Mexicans, the challenge faced by those who dare to run to govern Mexico next year is no small house ”.

Perhaps I am a bit skeptical about the role that the opposition should have, mainly because I know that opposition political parties are still kidnapped by that political class that has always conceived of politics as the instrument to gain power through power, And until there is a true generational renewal that I added to prepared grassroots leaders, the role of the opposition parties will remain in vile predators lurking, and the consensus and general agreement that is needed to see the democratic transition as a matter of A national agenda for all is in danger of being frustrated and that the emissaries of the past will return to their wanderings, Mexico is the one who decides and has the last word.
